The Mysterious Death of Warren G.

Warren G. Harding served as the President of the United States from 1921 until his death in 1923. I didn't really know much about Warren G. or his presidency; therefore, I was super shocked to learn about the mysterious theories surrounding his death on August 2, 1923. The official & documented cause of death was a heart attack; however, the theories of his death include negligent homicide, suicide, and/or murder.

President Harding was medically cared for by an alleged obsessive/homeopathic physician named Dr. Doc Sawyer. Dr. Sawyer's methods of treating President Harding could possibly have been labeled as negligent homicide, because these methods, such as providing purgatives, could have possibly exacerbated President Harding's already existing heart condition. Which, interestingly enough is very similar to the Michael Jackson drama unfolding now regarding the practices of Michael's physician administering a strange cocktail of drugs. 

Several of Warren G. Harding's friends, who were also part of his administration, were allegedly involved in several scandals, and as his term continued the scandals were getting more intense and serious. There is speculation that President Harding, who was feeling so betrayed by his friends, actually committed suicide so that his Presidency would end on a good note before even more scandal was disclosed to the American public. President Harding is famous for his quote about his close friends, "I can deal with my enemies. It's my goddamn friends that have me walking the floor at night." To make that comment....I mean, how betrayed must he have felt?  

Lastly, President Harding was rumored to have had several mistresses, one being with a woman by the name of Nan Britton. It was said that upon Mrs. Harding finding out details about President Harding's affair with Ms Britton that Mrs. Harding became psychotically enraged. There were rumors she killed her husband later that night to prevent him from further scandal embarrassment, but there were even more rumors that she killed her husband more over her feelings of embarrassment & revenge, "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned."
